Historic Value
Britton Road once spent over a decade as part of a historic Route 66 Bypass and is rich in historically valuable history and architecture. The District is actively involved in aligning itself with Route 66 tourism interests in the State, and participating in Statewide eorts to grow and capitalize on this story. Looking ahead to the Route 66 Centennial in 2026, the excitement is building and the work is beginning!
